Chloe Moretz's "Late Show" Loveliness

Making a promotional stop as her new movie "Dark Shadows" nears its May 11th release date, Chloe Moretz looked breathtaking in a black and blue Christopher Kane number as she arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City on Thursday afternoon (May 3).

The 15-year-old actress greeted an awaiting crowd of fans and onlookers before heading inside to pre-tape her appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman".

And while "Dark Shadows" is hitting theaters in just over a week, Miss Moretz is setting her sights on assuming the lead role in a revamped version of the horror classic "Carrie".

Recently talking about the gig with MTV, Chloe revealed that she might be creating a dress to be worn by her character in the film.

"I might be making my own dress," she said. "One of my ideas for the character was to actually go and make my own dress, and I'm actually using my friend's old drapes and making my own dress, and I'm going to sew it and everything, and I'm actually going to go out and wear it for a few weeks. I'm sure you guys are going to get some great, lovely photos of me walking down the street in some weird A-line thing, but it will be good. It will put me in there."

Also starring Julianne Moore and Hailee Steinfeld, "Carrie" is slated for a March 15, 2013 release date.
