Reese Witherspoon's Home Rejected for Presidential Affair

A very pregnant Reese Witherspoon was spotted visiting a construction site in Bel Air, CA on Wednesday afternoon (May 2).

Possibly planning a big move or real estate investment, the “Legally Blonde” babe scoped the site as she trekked through the gravel while dressed in a pretty striped maternity dress topped off with an orange sweater.

In other news, it turns out that the 36-year-old actress’ home was surpassed as a choice for an upcoming fundraiser in honor of President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign.

According to THR, Witherspoon "has been looking for ways to get more involved in Obama’s re-election effort" and organizers "took a look at [her] Brentwood home" before deciding George Clooney’s home was "a better fit."

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the Oscar-winning actor will hold a 150-seat, $40,000-per-person dinner at his home in honor of the President on May 10.
