George Clooney & Julia Roberts Team Up for Legal Battle
The two are together again, but this time it’s not for a big screen hit - as George Clooney and Julia Roberts are fighting a legal battle.
According to court documents from April 27, the “Ocean’s Eleven” co-stars have sued two audio-visual companies for the misuse of the Oscar winners’ photos in advertisements shown on its websites that were used to market the business’ equipment.
As for what they're after, Julia and George are hoping to land an injunction preventing any future use of their likeness, as well as money to cover lawyer fees along with treble, punitive and compensatory damages.
Though Clooney and Roberts joined forces in submitting the lawsuit, it's noteworthy to mention they've decided to hire separate legal personnel to handle the case.
