Kicking off the week with a swanky shindig, Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest were spotted at the 2012 Met Ball in New York City last night (May 7).

The “Footloose” hottie and her “American Idol” stud showed up at the Metropolitan Museum of Art looking top-notch as they posed for the shutterbugs.

Julianne opted for a pretty pink Carolina Herrera dress teamed with Jimmy Choo heels while Ryan went for the classic black Burberry tuxedo/bow tie combo.

Prior to his arrival, Ryan tweeted, “On way to #metgala…the only place I don’t feel awkward asking ‘who are you wearing?’”
