Rob Lowe Scores Casey Anthony Movie Gig

He’s no stranger to tabloid movies, and Rob Lowe's latest role will be a part of the Lifetime movie about Casey Anthony.

According to an inside source, the “Parks and Recreation” stud will play Jeff Ashton, the prosecutor in Anthony’s child murder case.

The still-untitled film will be based on a book written by Ashton and “will examine what the prosecution got right, what they got wrong and why Ashton remains convinced of Casey Anthony’s guilt.”

There’s no word on when the project will begin filming, nor is there a solid release date as of yet.
