Amanda Bynes Involved in Another Car Accident
Nearly a month after getting arrested for driving under the influence and side-swiping a police cruiser, Amanda Bynes is in trouble again.
According to a report put out by People on Saturday (May 5), the "She's The Man" actress reportedly side-swiped another vehicle with her black Range Rover in Los Angeles on Friday near the intersection of Crescent Heights and Melrose Boulevard and continued to drive away.
According to Los Angeles Police Officer Sgt. Ben Zucker, the 26-year-old may not have known she even hit someone. When talking to the publication the officier said, "At 4:25 p.m., we were notified of a possible hit-and-run," adding, "the caller followed Miss Bynes for a short distance to a gas station.”
After arriving on scene the Sgt. Zucker explained, "It turned out the damage to the pick-up truck was so minor that it was very plausible she had no idea that she hit anyone.”
Due to the factors involved in this accident, the former Nickelodeon actress walked away with no charges as officials said, “There were no arrests made and no one was injured.” Though driving under the influence was a factor in her previous accident, LAPD says there was no indication that the actress was intoxicated.
